Robert Niziol
Since 2005 Robert has been a Partner at Penton Partners, a private equity fund investing in lower middle-market private companies. Participated in more than 30 private equity transactions, more than $300 million invested, generated over 20% IRR (annual net of fees) for 15 years.
Robert is also a Founder of IGS Investment, an early-stage VC fund investing in innovative technologies, FinTech, life sciences, and renewable energy.
Since 2020 invested in 26 portfolio companies (seed round).
Previously worked in the Credit Derivatives and Structured Credit Products Group at JPMorgan Chase in New York.
He has founded (or co-founded) several companies, including Pin4 Cardless Cash (now MasterCard Cash Pick UP), Innox Corp (biotech), Sabre Games (mobile gaming).
Advised many SMEs, large corporations, and governmental agencies on various business-related matters, including restructuring, turnarounds, business development, and capital structures.
Spoke at many international conferences related to Private Equity and Venture Capital.
Robert holds a BA in International Business and Finance from Anisfield School of Business (Ramapo College of NJ). He completed the Management and Leadership Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
Robert is very active in nonprofit organizations.
